E-Mail

A service that allows people to send messages with pictures and sounds from their computer to any other computer in the world. To send someone an e-mail message you need an e-mail account and to know the other person's e-mail address.

Examples:

john.doe@abc.com, jane.doe@xyz.edu. E-mail is a frequent vehicle for computer viruses. E-mail is also a common medium for cyberbullying, phishing, spam, and a number of other at-risk online activities.

Stay Safe:

You can use a filter to eliminate unwanted e-mails. You can request from any organization that has your e-mail such as a bank that they not sell it to marketing companies. Be careful who you give your email address to.
