It has been Derald's great opportunity to be involved with education for the past 40 years. He taught in the sixth and fourth grades for 18 years, then for the next 20 years was the librarian and computer/technology instructor at Blanding Elementary School. Recently he started working for the Southeast Educational Service center as a technology trainer for Carbon and Emery School Districts.

Because of the power of technology that we have today, Derald feels it is vital that we channel students to be wise consumers of the material that is available to them.
