Sexual Exploitation
Any abuse of a position of vulnerability, differential power, or trust for sexual purposes; this includes profiting monetarily, socially, or politically from the sexual exploitation of another.
Examples:
Sexual exploitation can come from not only strangers but also friends, and acquaintances. Teens are often exploring their own development and anxiety about adulthood and fall into difficult situations.
Stay Safe:
The key is for you to know and monitor what your children are doing on the Internet. You need to discuss the potential danger with your children and explain to them that they should report anything that makes them feel scared or uncomfortable.
